What you're building
Your own scenario, to translate (not solve yet — that's Lesson 02):
Your AI product starts with 200 paying users. Each month, net growth (new signups minus cancellations, combined into one rate) is +8%. A competing product starts with 250 users and grows at a net +5% per month.
Produce a written document (translation.md, plain text or Markdown) containing:
- Both functions, fully translated into this course's exponential form, following the 5-step process above
- Every symbol defined in plain language, exactly like Step 5 of the worked example — a reader who has never seen this scenario should be able to understand what each piece means from your definitions alone
- Three questions, written in your own words but precisely, that Lesson 02 will solve: (a) how many users your product has after 12 months, (b) the first month your product's users exceed 500, (c) how different your product's 12-month trajectory is from the competitor's, month by month
- One sentence identifying which part of this translation felt least obvious, and why
